This is it. This is the album. My brother died and all I have to show for it is this body of work. I tried to remember him and the conversations about life we used to have, and I guess this is my best way of eulogizing him. Lord knows I choked up at the funeral. It took a lot to make this record, and I think it's the most special thing I've recorded, so I'm putting it on vinyl. I believe in it. If Abel can charge $100 for House of Balloons ten years later, I can make a record and do the same...maybe, lol. This is a preorder so since y'all rock with me so heavy, I'm placing it at $75 and we'll make it limited. If we have any leftover, well, we going to the moon lol. Each album will come personally addressed to YOU. We're going to make so many, and if it sells out before the release date, we will meet the demands; but once it's out, it's gone. I hope you enjoy this album. I love you, bro.

    Sincerely,
    Gat$

about

This is my favorite A24 film. I thought about Chiron losing Juan at a pivotal time in his life, watching his soul from the beach. I fathom my brother did the same.

lyrics

They say the mind change like the moon do
My mind change up like the moon view
My grind change up like a fool do
Shake the cup till the brim like a monsoon
Trying to stay black and die as a Zulu
But wave make you shift like Cthulhu
Peep the mirror will the fame go and change you
Rather see my brains have the range of a sun roof
Move lil nigga let the sun thru
I can never go to sleep when the sun do
It’s the delay that I peep like I’m Sun Tzu
Peep the Opal in my grill that’s the Bluetooth
High tide new mind what would you do
Paint the road with a grey coupe
Change lanes like my mind do
Change frames like I can’t find you
Pens and needles move me like it’s voodoo
All the rings on a nigga like a Hulu
All the rings on me like it’s Saturn
Spinning like Sonic it’s a circles that we move thru
What do you do when feelings fall thru
When you go will your niggas still call you
When I go will they wait to for a text back
I hope you know that this is still all you
Till then we out for blood like it’s SuWuu
Escargot for anyone that pursue you
Till we rich and niggas wanna sue you
That was the plan that was the plan
I popped a xan to Cage the animal like the zoo do
You ever wonder what happened to the cool you
Thoughts I think late for my own wake
Make sure you put a real nigga in a cool hue

Cause I look for trouble in moonlight
Nothing to lose, I'mma hit roads if the moves right
Heart on my sleeve, hoodie on me, it's a cool night
Down with my demons, in it I'm leaning hoping the hues bright

They say the mind change like the moon do
My mind change up like the moon view
My grind change up like a fool do
Shake the cup till the brim like a monsoon
Trying to stay black and die as a Zulu
But wave make you shift like Cthulhu
Peep the mirror will the fame go and change you
Rather see my brains have the range of a sun roof
Imma let my soul flow thru the room
Like salt in the wound
Like cracks in boon
Bones crack when it booms
Squad tight like naps when it’s June
Not naps in bed but head
Like maps in the braids
I’ll come back for you soon
I feel like a runaway slave
Ran laps in this pain
Pain lapse like the moon
Cycle back to the sky
We all gotta die
Why did you go so soon
Thoughts in my mind
I cannot recline
We was supposed to be womb to the tomb
I feel like I cracked another tooth
Spitting all these damn bars about you
Puff another jay get to levitate
Why we so fascinated with doom

If I get the moves right
I look blue in the moonlight
But the sunflowers keep me so warm inside, warm inside
